How does it work?

Implementing NORA is simple. Once a new account is active, all you need to do is install our hardware appliance or software at your site and identify the devices to be monitored.

The instructions for installing the harware appliance (AKA the LBB-1 (Little Black Box 1)) are:

• Unpack LBB-1 from box
• Mount LBB-1 on wall or in rack
• Plug in network cable
• Plug in power cable
• Press power button

Once the software or hardware is installed in the client network, NORA will automatically start obeserving all equipment on the network. We then monitor only devices you specify.

Using WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation), SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol), device logs, and our own patent-pending proprietary GetITInfo technology allow us to provide many metrics of obeservation for each device

When a device reports an alert condition, e-mail or SMS text messaging to you or anyone you speicfy happens automatically. In addition, escalations can also be added to allow for an SLA (Serivce Level Agreement) as necessary.
